SAMHSA’s 2020 National Survey on Drug Use and Health reports that approximately 19.3 million people aged 18 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year.
Alcohol and other drugs are very common and can get out of control quickly. Therefore, the sooner an early intervention takes place the better chance for long-term recovery is possible and through an intervention it may just save a life.
